Hyderabad Police arrested Telugu superstar Allu Arjun because of to a terrible stampede that occurred during the premiere of his latest film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. It occurred at the Sandhya Theatre, that is found in Hyderabad’s busy RTC Crossroads community, on the evening of December 4.

To celebrate the much anticipated debut of the film and get a sight of the actor, thousands of fans had gathered outside the movie theater. Unfortunately, 35-year-old Revathi died as a result of a stampede-like situation spurred on by the large throng. Police Take Action

The Hyderabad Police acted swiftly after the event. Police officers from the Chikkadpally station apprehended Allu Arjun at his home in Jubilee Hills. They took the actor to the police station for inquiry.

The police verified that a case directly names Allu Arjun, his personal security detail, and the theater’s management. The deceased woman’s cousins filed a complaint, leading to charges under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Another Death at a Pushpa 2 Screening

sadly, a second death linked to a Pushpa 2 screening occured on the same day. Harijana Madhannappa, 35, was found dead in an auditorium in Rayadurgam. Ravi Babu, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) for Kalyandurgam, claimed that Madhannappa had gone to the matinee play while intoxicated. Around 6 p.m., theater cleaning staff found him asleep.Police examined the circumstances surrounding his death but found no connection to the Hyderabad stampede.

Allu Arjun’s Legal Response and Support for the Victim’s Family

Allu Arjun sought the High Court to have the charges against him removed after his arrest.In addition, he requested a hold on all pending legal actions—including his arrest—until the court resolves the petition. The High Court will consider the case in a couple of days.

The actor, that is popular for his movies being successful and loyal fan the base, sent condolences for the tragic event. He declared that Revathi’s family would receive ₹25 lakh in financial support to help them through this trying time.
