The Ambani family has started the wedding celebrations for their son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, with a heartwarming initiative. In a gesture, they organized a ‘Samuh Vivah’ (Mass wedding) for over 50 underprivileged couples from the Palghar area, located about 100 km from Mumbai. The event was held at the Reliance Corporate Park and saw nearly 800 attendees, including the families of the couples.

The Ceremony and Celebrations

Nita Ambani and Shri Mukesh Ambani, along with other family members. Graced the function and extended their heartfelt wishes to the couple. Their presence gave the event a more personal and lucky feel.

As an act of respect, every couple got:

  • Gold eyebrow rings, wedding bands, and this jewelry.
  • Silver Ornaments: Toe rings and anklets.
  • Streedhan: Each bride received a cheque of Rs. 1.01 Lakh (One Lakh One Thousand).
  • Grocery and Household Items: sufficient for one year. Including 36 essential items, utensils, appliances like amixer, andtove, mixer, and fan, and. Bedding such as a mattress and pillows.

The wedding ceremony was a grand affair, attended by over 800 people, including the families of the brides and grooms, local social workers, and community members. Following the ceremony, a grand dinner was organized, further fostering a spirit of celebration and togetherness.
